Once death took you in it finally felt like home,
Wanting to see the fall of a hundred thousands disasters until the beat was done.
You never felt like you could walk through those walls until you denied us all freedom,
But you could only be a liar to those that followed your way.
Your touch was as cold as the ice-age running through my bones,
He treated you to a long farewell but we both knew it wouldn't last that long.
Bones like castles in the night watching over everything,
He doesn't need anything anymore.
This planet of ice was to cold to stick around,
They always told you about your heart of stone that no fire can burn from the inside.
No ones going to love you until you've learned to love yourself,
That may seem selfish but whats the point anyway.
I never told you how i stopped the fall,
Trying to think of better times whilst choosing to never break down those walls.
Leaders try to replace compromise with hope,
How sad it is to think it will be like this until the end of time.
Why was it me to dance with death and tell the tale?
For a moment i thought of home and an awkward silence of war.
'Oh Major! what is the meaning of this demise?"
Only to reply "My Boy, we will return better men".
The words fell silently through regret,
The croak in his voice when hey cry time to fly
While the loud bang of lightning still hurts my eyes.
A fresh start was never yours to make,
Growing in a decade of restless breaks keeps the heart at bay.
Selfishly you will never return to this world.
